Purchase your ticket at the entrance

As always, you can purchase your admission ticket to Ribe VikingeCenter at the entrance. We have no capacity limit.

We kindly ask larger groups to contact us before visiting. That way, we are able to have tickets and information ready for when the group arrives, and the admission process will run smoothly.

Means of payment

At the ticket desk and in our museum shop you can pay with card and cash (DKK and EUR). The same goes for Café VILD.

If you would want to buy something from the Vikings, for instance during the International Viking Market, you need to know this:

• Danish and foreign Viking reenactors accept cash only (DKK and EUR).
• The Viking reenactors do not accept card payments.
• Due to international security precautions it is only possible to withdraw money from a card issued outside Denmark from a cash machine/an ATM. There are cash machines to be found in Ribe, some 2 km away from the Centre.

New webshop is on its way

We are currently having a new website with online ticket sales developed. This means that we do not offer a webshop at the moment. But please don't worry: it is not necessary to purchase admission tickets beforehand.

You can always buy your tickets at the entrance to Ribe VikingeCenter!
