The Larder - Trailer
Follow the seasons on a large farm in the Viking Age in 980 AD. Meet the family on the farm, who struggle to feed both people and livestock throughout the year, while maintaining their influence and status in the area.
About the series
The film series FADEBURET (the larder) has been created by Ribe VikingeCenter with support from the Region of Southern Denmark and the Wadden Sea Cultural Region.
The films were shot at Ribe VikingeCenter and by the Wadden Sea. Ribe VikingeCenter has reconstructed a typical farmstead from the year 980, which was excavated at Gammel Hviding about 10 km south-west of Ribe. Visit Hvidinggården at Ribe VikingeCenter and meet some of the characters from the series.
