The Viking town of Ripa (Ribe) quickly grew from a market town into a harbour town, and with trade and prosperity came the first Christians at an early stage.

In the series RIPA, Ask arrives in the town with ambitions and dreams of a bright future. For a while he seems to settle into life in Ripa, but power changes hands and Ask’s past is revealed.
