Helping Hands in Ribe VikingeCenter

Who are the Helping Hands?

Helping Hands assist us with repairs and maintenance in the reconstructed Viking settings. Helping Hands is the initiative of a group of mainly reenactors, who offered to help out. Eventually, Ribe VikingeCenter took over the coordinating role.

Some of the Helping Hands members are reenactors (Danish and foreigners), and our coordinator will arrange and facilitate projects on certain days while they are staying with us. This work may then be carried out during our opening hours with the reenactors dressed authentically.

Other members of the Helping Hands are volunteers (typically locals) who prefer lending a hand outside our opening hours. They usually meet once a month to take care of maintenance jobs also facilitated by our coordinator.

How can I join the Helping Hands group?

If you have time to spare and would like to volunteer in Ribe VikingeCenter joining the Helping Hands group, please fill out the form below. Our coordinator will then get back to you and sort out the details.

Important:

When you complete and submit the form, you also allow us to register and keep the information. You can at any time withdraw your consent.
