The walls of the Thing-hall at Ribe VikingeCenter are decorated with a 20-metre-long and colourful mural. It tells the story of the founding of Ripa (Ribe) around 700 AD. Four of the painting’s central figures are Angantyr the warrior, Thorleif the trader, Aage the craftsman and Asketud the slave.
